ClearNext is operated by Alderwave Labs LLC. This notice explains what the service processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Decision text

Your decision is sent to OpenAI solely to generate the ClearNext result. ClearNext does not save your decision text in its application database. OpenAI may process and temporarily retain API data for safety and abuse monitoring under its applicable API policies.

Accounts and billing

When you sign in, ClearNext processes your ChatGPT account identifier, name when available, and email address to provide paid access. Stripe processes payments and provides ClearNext with customer, subscription, invoice, and billing-status identifiers. ClearNext does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Free-use and security data

We place signed first-party cookies that record how many of your three free decisions have been used and whether a visit has already been counted that day. To prevent repeated resets and limit automated or excessive requests, we also convert your account identifier or network address into a one-way protected identifier and retain the usage count for up to 30 days. We do not store your raw network address with that count, and none of these records contains your decision text.

Aggregate product measurement

ClearNext records daily aggregate counts such as visits, decisions started, completed results, upgrade views, checkout starts, subscriptions, and voluntary usefulness responses. These measurements do not contain decision text or a profile of what you asked. Campaign labels may be counted in a short normalized form so Alderwave can understand how visitors found the service.

Service providers

ClearNext relies on OpenAI for generated results and sign-in, Stripe for payment and subscription management, Squarespace for domain registration, and OpenAI Sites infrastructure for hosting and operational storage. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

What we do not do

ClearNext does not sell personal information, run third-party advertising trackers, or build an advertising profile from your decisions.

Your choices

You may stop using ClearNext at any time, manage or cancel your subscription through your account, and clear first-party cookies through your browser settings. Clearing a cookie does not reset the server-side free-use count. You may contact us to ask about account or privacy information associated with your email.
